1. Who controls your data

Click Trading Ltd (trading as BougeRV Malta) is the data controller.

Registered office: 76, Cagiano Street, St Julian's, Malta, STJ 1861
Company registration number: C 65076
Email: info@clicktrading.net
Phone: +356 9945 7892

2. What we collect

When you enquire or order:

  • Name

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Delivery address

  • What you asked about and what you ordered

  • The content of our WhatsApp, email or phone conversation

When you use the website:

  • Pages visited, time on site, approximate location, device and browser type

  • Referral source

We do not collect or store card or bank details. Payment is taken on delivery.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To reply to your enquiry — steps taken at your request before a contract

  • To fulfil and deliver your order — performance of a contract

  • To handle warranty claims and after-sales support — contract and legal obligation

  • To keep accounting and VAT records — legal obligation

  • To understand how the website is used — your consent, via analytics cookies

  • To send offers or news, if you have asked for them — your consent

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. WhatsApp

Much of our customer contact happens over WhatsApp. When you message us:

  • Your message and phone number are processed by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) under their own privacy terms, which we do not control.

  • We keep the conversation so we can handle your order, warranty and support history.

  • If you would rather not use WhatsApp, email or phone us instead.

5. Who we share it with

Only where necessary:

  • Delivery — your name, address and phone, so we can get the goods to you

  • Manufacturer or supplier — where a warranty claim requires it

  • Accountants and auditors — for statutory records

  • Website and IT providers — Squarespace hosts this site; Google provides analytics if enabled

  • Authorities — where the law requires it

Some providers are outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, transfers are covered by adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don't become orders: up to 12 months

  • Order and customer records: 10 years, as required by Maltese tax and company law

  • Warranty records: for the length of the warranty plus 12 months

  • Marketing consent: until you withdraw it

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

  • Give you a copy of your data

  • Correct anything wrong

  • Delete it, where we have no overriding obligation to keep it

  • Restrict or object to how we use it

  • Transfer it to another provider

  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it

Email info@clicktrading.net. We reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC), Malta — idpc.org.mt.

8. Cookies

This site uses:

  • Essential cookies — needed for the site to work. No consent required.

  • Analytics cookies — help us see which pages and products get attention. Set only with your consent.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential ones may break parts of the site.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take it seriously — and because we never handle card details, the most sensitive category simply isn't there to lose.

10. Children

This site is not aimed at under-16s and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always the one on this page.

Formatting once it's pasted

Squarespace will paste it as flat text. Two minutes of cleanup:

  • Highlight each numbered section heading → set to Heading 3

  • Highlight the page title → Heading 1

  • Italicise the "Last updated" line

  • Check the bullets came through as real lists, not dashes

One thing to decide

Section 3 and 8 both assume Google Analytics is running. Earlier you were going to check whether gtag exists in your console — I never saw the result.

  • If GA4 is live: leave the text as is, and switch on the cookie banner (Settings → Cookies & Visitor Data), blocking analytics until consent. Without the banner you're describing a consent process you don't actually operate.

  • If GA4 isn't installed: delete the analytics bullet in §3, and in §8 replace the analytics paragraph with "We do not currently use analytics or tracking cookies." Simpler, and more honest.

Squarespace has its own basic Analytics that doesn't need consent, so "no analytics cookies" can be perfectly true even though you can still see visitor numbers.
